Toby Murillo is an acclaimed filmmaker, auteur, and author based in Los Angeles, California. Known for his compelling psychological narratives and distinct visual poetry, Toby’s multi-faceted career spans directing, screenwriting, and producing across international boundaries.

His extensive body of work includes the feature film “Un Malo No Tan Malo” (2010), alongside highly regarded short films such as “Do You Love Me?” (2011) and the critically acclaimed “Who is the Madman?” (2022 Academy Award® qualifying short film). The latter was adapted directly from his debut thriller novel, “Heavenly Conspiracy”, which Toby published internationally in both English and Spanish.
